Ability to Create and Edit Pledges from the Dashboard

Organizations can now manage pledges directly from the dashboard, making it easier to track donor commitments.

How to Create & Edit Pledges:

  1. Go to "Payments" > "Pledges" in the WeGive dashboard.
  2. Click the blue plus sign to create a new pledge.
    • Select a supporter.
    • Enter pledge amount and installment interval (one-time, 4 installments, 8 installments, monthly).
  3. Customize Pledge Details:
    • Choose a designation and Campaign.
    • Add a start and end date.
    • Create pledge payments as manual installments or auto-billing.
  4. Save & Activate the Pledge.
  5. To Edit an Existing Pledge:
    • Go to “Pledges” → Find the donor’s pledge.
    • Click “Edit” and modify details.
    • Select the option to "Charge an Installment" in order to manually process payments towards the pledge directly from the dashboard.
