The Billing section in WeGive allows customers to manage their subscription plan, view and download invoices, update payment methods, and handle billing contacts. It ensures transparency around charges and helps administrators stay on top of their organization’s account status.
What Is the Billing Feature?
The Billing feature provides a centralized view of your organization’s:
- Subscription Plan
- Invoice History
- Payment Method
- Billing Contacts
This is where you go to confirm what plan you're on, when you’re billed, how much you’re being charged, and where those charges are going.
Where to Find It
- Go to the Settings tab in your WeGive dashboard.
- Click on the Billing section.
Understanding the Billing Page
1. Subscription Details
- View the plan your organization is currently subscribed to.
- See the plan ID, plan name, and start date.
- Click View to see the full terms and conditions associated with your plan.
2. Invoices
- A table lists your most recent monthly invoices.
- Click on an Invoice ID to view invoice details.
- For each invoice, you’ll see:
- Amount charged
- Due date
- Status (e.g., Paid, Pending)
- Amount charged
This provides a clear history of your monthly WeGive charges and helps with financial tracking and reconciliation.
3. Payment Method
- Under Payment Method, you can add or update the card on file used to pay your WeGive subscription.
- Payments are typically auto-charged on a recurring schedule (e.g., the 1st of every month).
4. Billing Contacts
- You can add additional billing contacts to be notified of upcoming charges or receive invoice copies.
- Enter one or more email addresses, separated by commas.
5. Cancel Account
- If you wish to terminate your WeGive subscription, you can do so by clicking Cancel My WeGive Account at the bottom of the page.
Caution: This action will initiate the account deactivation process and may affect access to your dashboard and data.
