The Custom Question Answers Table allows you to view and manage the responses collected from custom questions created within the WeGive platform. This table provides a structured way to analyze supporter responses, filter results, and export data for further analysis. Answers to submissions are available from the Export view.
Accessing the Custom Question Answers Table

Navigate to the Custom Questions section in your WeGive dashboard under the Data tab.

This will display a full table view of all Custom Questions Answers.
Table Overview
Each row in the table represents an individual response to a custom question. The table includes the following columns:

ID – A unique identifier for each response.

Question Title – The custom question associated with the response.

Input Type – The format of the response (e.g., multiple choice, dropdown, free text).

Owner – The campaign, event, form, or checkout that owns the question.

Owner Type – The type of element where the question was used (e.g., Form, Checkout, Event, Pledge Create).

Created At – The date and time the response was submitted.
Filtering Custom Question Answers
To refine the data displayed in the table, you can apply filters:

Click the Filter icon.

Select the filtering criteria, such as:

Owner Type (i.e. Donor, Transaction, Form Submission, Event Registration)
- Event Type by name.
- Form Type by name.

Date Range for when the responses were collected

Click Set Filters to apply your selections.
Exporting Responses
To view the responses, export the selected responses for external analysis:
- Choose the specific submissions from which you would like to download the responses.

Click the Download button in the top-right corner.

The exported file will be available to download from the Exports section of the Data tab.
