Event Customization Options

WeGive offers various customization options when creating an Event.

Details:

From the Details tab, you can upload a background image, header, description text, location, and start and end time to customize the appearance of your Event page.

You can add a Zoom meeting link for a virtual event, or create an in person event. The time of the event will be displayed in the user's timezone based on IP so you can set the time in your current timezone.

Registration:

From the Registration tab, create tickets for your event.

If "Currently Accepting Registrations" is enabled, supporters will be able to register for your event. However, if your event is in the past, supporters will no longer be able to register for your event, even if "Currently Accepting Registrations" in enabled.

"Enforce Max Capacity" will limit the total number of tickets available for your event.

Creating a "Free" registration type will allow donors to sign up and register for an event without being charged. Creating a "Paid" registration type will require donors to purchase a ticket before they are registered for the event. You can create tickets with different pricing tiers and limit the number of tickets available within each tier.

The Ticket Description is an internal description your team can use to classify the use of each ticket. These descriptions do not show to supporters as they register to the event.

Questions:

The Questions tab will allow you to collect information from your supporters as they register for an event. You can rearrange the order of the questions by clicking on the ellipsis.

Donations:

Under the Donations tab, you can prompt donors to donate to your organization after their register for your event.

Confirm:

Under the Confirm tab, you can review your Event details and then go live with your Event.
