If one of your supporter's transactions fails to process, you can click the Retry Donation button. This will retry processing the transaction that failed using the original payment method.
If the transaction that failed is part of a recurring plan or an installment was missed on a recurring plan, you also have the option of charging an installment on the recurring plan. You can charge the installment using the same payment method or you can edit the recurring plan, add a new payment method to the recurring plan, and then charge and installment using a new payment method. This is helpful if a recurring plan transaction failed due to a faulty or expired payment method.
***Note***
Adding a new payment method when clicking "Charge Installment" does not automatically update the payment method associated with the recurring plan. If the transaction failed to process due to an expired or faulty payment method, make sure to also edit the recurring plan and update the corresponding payment method for future installments.
