Supporter Tags allow you to categorize and organize supporters based on specific criteria. Tags are visible on the Supporter Record details and can be added from any Table View or directly from the Supporter Record itself.
Creating a Supporter Tag
- Navigate to the Tags section.
- Click Create Tag and enter a name for your tag.
- Use Rule Groups to define entry rules based on supporter attributes (i.e. donation amount, number of donations, etc.).
- Enable "Remove donors when they no longer match entry rules" to automatically remove supporters who no longer fit the tag criteria.
- Click Save to finalize your tag.
- Note that it may take a few minutes for all supporters in the tag to fully load.
Managing Supporter Tags
- Tags are automatically assigned when a supporter meets the defined criteria.
- Supporters will be removed from the tag if they no longer match the entry rules (if enabled).
- You can manually add or remove tags from a Supporter Record or a Table View.
- Click the Refresh button to view the most updated list of supporters.
Example Use Case
- "Big Donors" Tag: Automatically tags supporters who have donated over $50,000. If "Remove donors when they no longer match the rules is enabled" and a donor's total contributions drop below this threshold, they are removed from the tag.
Supporter Tags help streamline donor management, making it easier to segment and engage your supporters effectively.
