For Stripe:

Subject: Request for Credit Card Data Export
To: (Data Migrations)@(existing gateway).com
From: (Whoever is listed as the business owner)

Hello,

I am writing to request an export of my credit card data to import them into (Stripe), a PCI DSS Level 1 Service provider. Our MID number is (MID at Processor). The type of credit card information I need includes the following:

●   Customer Name
●   Full credit card number
●   Expiration date
●   Email (if available)
●   Billing address

Stripe will store and protect the credit card data in accordance with the PCI DSS standards.Stripe is a PCI Level 1 Service provider, so they have security protocols in place for handling data carefully. Stripe’s PCI Attestation of Compliance (AoC) is available upon request, if you don’t already have it on file.

For security, Stripe requires that the data export is encrypted with their PGP key, which can be found here: https://stripe.com/docs/security/pgp-migration-key

Stripe’s team will provide me with SFTP server credentials, which I will share with you, so your team can upload my data to Stripe’s server. Please let me know what my next steps are for getting the export process started. You may reach out to Stripe's data migration team at datamigrations@stripe.com if you have any technical questions regarding this request.Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

(Account Owner Name)

For importing data into Stripe, please follow these steps: First, send a request email to your previous processor to initiate the data export. Next, complete the migration request form available on Stripe's platform. Once you receive the SFTP credentials from Stripe, forward them to your old processor to facilitate the transfer. After these steps, you will need to wait for Stripe to formally request the data migration. For added assistance, you can utilize the secure data migration request form found on Stripe's Help & Support page. Please note that you must be logged into your Stripe account to access this form.

Note:
If you are coming from Fiserv, you will email DataMigrations@fiserv.com.

Once you have initiated the token transfer, CC support@wegive.com on the emails. Email support@wegive.com to finalize a date to initiate token transfer billing in WeGive.
