Open Virtuous and navigate here. You will see a table that looks similar to the screenshot below.

Click on "Create Field". On the Object selector, choose Gift. In the Name input, enter wg_id using the type Text. Both Display and Group can remain empty. Click "Save Field" and you have completed the necessary customization for WeGive to work with Virtuous.
