By purchasing a phone number with WeGive, you can send automated and broadcasted text messages from your organization to your supporters.
To buy your organization's number, go to the Settings in the navigation bar and then click on the Numbers tab. Then click Add a new phone to purchase your number.
To choose your phone number, first select your country. Then select whether your phone number will be a number assigned to a local geographic region or a toll free number that is not tied to a region but is free of charge for your supporter to call. Enter any string of numbers you wish to be a part of the phone number and select whether that number string is a first part match, last part match, or anywhere match. Then click Buy on the phone number you wish to purchase.
Once you agree to your phone number's terms and conditions, click confirm to purchase the phone number.
Text to Give
To set up Text to Give, create a key word that your supporter's will text to get the desired set response. For example, you can set the key word "Give" and set the response as your Default checkout so that anytime someone texts your organization's number with the word "Give" it triggers texting the checkout.
