Easily send year end statements, or download them for you to send on your own. Statements are automatically created for all your contacts that donated through WeGive, and include the giving history from your connected CRM when applicable. They are beautifully styled into multipage PDFs that are live hosted on your site if you need to make changes.

To email each of your supporters their Tax Documents, you can send a Message using WeGive's contextualized variables for (a hyperlink to their year end statement) and (displaying the total amount the donor gave for the last tax year). You can also add an audience rule group for Last Donated Dated is after Jan 1 so you can send the statements to all of your donors who gave during your selected tax year.

You also can go to the Reports tab located under Settings and select the Report Year you wish to download to receive an export of all your supporter's transactions in your email inbox. It may take a some time to arrive in your inbox depending on how many donors you have in your system. The report contains active links you can send to each of your supporters.

Donors can also view tax statements from their Donor Portal, if enabled. If you prefer to restrict donor access to tax statements within their Donor Portal, you can easily disable this feature through the Dashboard by navigating to Donor Portal > Settings. Should you decide to grant access at a later date, you can re-enable the tax documents whenever you are ready for your donors to view their statements.

Note: The entire amount the donor gives to a donation, including the processing fees, are tax-deductible. Transactions can be edited to "Visible in Tax Documents = No" if they should not be marked as tax-deductible. These transactions will then be visible in the "Type=Service Revenue" filter on the Payments tab and not included in tax statements.
